Dynomax Bullet

I'm looking to replace my factory muffler with a Dynomax Bullet then removing the resonator and dumping the tailpipe.

My question is, do I need to get a 2.5" or 3" inlet?

3" inlet for the single exhaust setups.

^^ 3" for sure...... let us know how it sounds..... I saw a video of it on you tube, and it sounded pretty good!!!

Dynomax Race muffler . Their great . A buddy of mine has them on his 9 second Chevelle . The car is just as quick with these mufflers as it is with open header .

I ordered the Bullet today. If I get it by Friday I'll have it put on Saturday and report back.

Got the Bullet put on my truck. Dumped the pipe near the rear axle so overall cost of muffler + installation was only $100.

This setup is loud. Sounds really good when accelerating and is quiet at idle or coasting on the highway.

Only drawback is in-cab drone at 1500 RPMs, but the drone is only present when having to accelerate. The drone is not present at 1500 RPMs when coasting.

Well this setup is simply too loud for a daily driver. I will be replacing it with a Magnaflow 14" tomorrow.
