Running only water in my radiator

I want to drain my radiator and fill it up 50/50 with G05 and Distilled water. But before I put this mix in, could I run a distilled water rad tank fill, for maybe 1 minute, and then drain that. Then put in my mix? I don't want to use any cleaners, just in and out of G05 and water.

Yeah, just don't let it freeze in that minute! :)

Alright cool, wasn't sure if something was needed in the coolant. Just want to be safe.

It's fine just to flush out the old crap!

Might as well take it around the block. I fill it through the yellow cap right.

If it is cold where you are, do NOT drive it around. Just let the cooling system pump it through. Driving it around will force even colder air through the radiator than what will be drawn through by the fan.

^^agreed. its such small amounts of water in the tabs that a slight drop in temp for a short amount of time it could cause a leak

Well, if you'd go to UserCP and update your info, I'd have known that.
