CAI/Flowmaster info for newbie
Has any one heard of Bill's custom intakes.found them on ebay.looks pretty good looks and price.just dont know to much about is his web site .any info will be nice.also I am looking into putting Flowmaster on my truck.I am looking for a nice rumble and dont want to be setting off you think I should go with the 40 OR 44 OR THE 50 .I dont mind some cabin noise also just dont want it to be that bad.I plan on putting cat back system. Thanks

I am not familiar with their intakes. They look to be well made.

I'd suggest the 50 series Flowmaster. You'll still hear it just fine but it won't annoy the neighbors too much. :D

Good luck with your mods!

I have a Volant CAI and a single in dual out flowmaster original 40 series and its loud. If you don't want cabin noise go with the 50 series. You will still here it when you get on it but not bad. My 40 series is loud all the time.....period.

Yes the CAI will add some sound under the hood and it will make the exhaust a little louder too.

I just went from a 14" Magnaflow to a Flowmaster 50 series to get rid of interior drone. Mission accomplished!!! The 50 series has a nice throaty rumble, but has about zero interior dron.... couldn't be more happy!

Here in Texas its 325 for the Flowmaster 50 installed out the rear of truck, gona get mine next weekend cant wait lol

Yeah I have never payed more then $350.00 for a cat pack install with chrome tips out the back. I have had several trucks done here in memphis most charge around 325 to 350 for a complete exhaust install. I have a one in and two out 40 series dumped at the rear axle and it is defentially loud you will want to go with the 50 series.
