305/50/20's too wide?
Hello Everyone

I have a 2008 2WD Quadcab Dodge Ram. I'm installing a 2" Fat Bob's coil spacer lift on the fromt to level it out, My question is will i be able to fit some 305'50/20's? :4-dontknow: I have the factory 20" wheels. I want a more aggressive look

Thanks in advance

I think the 305's look killer. However, seeing how you are from Louisiana I would assume you see a bunch of rain. IMHO, unless you get a rain specific tires the 305's would hydroplane like crazy.

You might want to talk to ScatPak07 about that setup. He had 305's on his 07 with a leveling kit, and I think he said they rubbed at full-lock. If they do end up rubbing, wheel spacers would do the trick.

they will fit but i think a wheel spacer will be needed

Now i dont know how much difference the leveling kit is but ive got a 22 with 305s and i dont rub at all but thats stock heighth and a bigger rim plus maybe a different offset? idk just rambling lol

Im running the 305/55/20 Nitto Grapplers and had to use a 1/4 spacer with my stock rims. My 305's do great in the rain...

the 305s will fit the truck with a stock rim. Like City Slicker mentioned I had them on my truck. the tires did rub when I was at full lock....which is only in a parking lot really...or a 3 point turn. You dont really have to worry, I know I didn't haha. You should also go with a 305/55/20 rather then a 50. just to get a little more height out of it. You can get some wheel spacers if you really dont want to have any rubbing. Those spacers seem like they will work, those 1/4"?

D0922, you probably have a differnet offset then the stock wheels. I actually have the 305s on my '11 Ram now with an aftermarket rim that has +18mm offset. The stock ones are +20mm. That is a diff of 2mm! I dont have the rubbing hahahaha....well I do in reverse at full lock going quick and hitting a bump. it is not the same as with the stock ones is what I mean. You really dont need much to change it
