I wonder of SCT makes a tuner for your truck. They should... OBDII started in '96.

Look into a exhaust system and an intake. Get the 180, 160 seems too cold. Also a good pair of headers after the intake and exhaust.

I don't have any experience of the TB mod and have not ever seen proven results so I can't vouch for that. The logic is there though.

i did the tb mod and tps tune on mine. even my girlfriend said she could tell a difference. i also shortened the throttle cable, that made a good bit of difference in it. changed from an airaid cai to the home-made one, and that made a difference too. pretty much everything ive done to my truck has to do with air flow. next is going to be straight motor. hope this helps. also, i have dual straight pipes with no cat.

i tb didnt make any difference on my truck and i also have a jet stage 2 chip in mine and a k&n cai on mine ande shorty headers, out of all of them, the headers made the biggest difference so thats what i would do.

get a tune that will be the biggest gain or gears

just did the throttle body upgrade on mine and loving the total outcome! gas mileage went up a good bit.
