Bought new HID bulbs but have problems
So I originally had 8k HID kit on my 05 dodge ram, which at first had the flicking issue. I bought a can bus canceller and it fixed the issue. But now I bought some 6k hid bulbs and you can notice a bouncing like issue with them. If you are looking right at the headlights and fog lights you can't notice the bouncing but if you are inside the truck and you shine the headlights and fogs to a wall you can notice them bouncing a little(sort of like a small flicker). Is this normal for the HIDs?

The bulb might be loosely installed?
like if you go over a bump or crack can you notice them move up and down rapidly?

No, it's just while i'm in my driveway not moving. But the light bouncing that i'm trying to describe is like if i'm moving and the bulb is loosely installed. But it does it while just sitting still.

Do you have single beam or bi xenon? My bi xenon bulbs connect together after I put that plastic bulb lock down piece. If the bulb isn't twisted together tightly I noticed the bulb moved even with the truck sitting still.

i have the bi xenon bulb. I'll double check all bulbs and make sure they are secured.

ummm in motsure what to tell you bud do you have the compasator with this new kit and all the other things you had hooked up with the 8k?

Yeah I have the exact same setup, all i did was change the bulbs out. I think they might be defective. I'm going to try to exchange them.

You will get a small "bounce" or flicker as the can bus system is always checking voltage across the circuit, causing a small momentary voltage drop.

^So there is no way around that?
