Engine vibration help

Hey guys I have a 2002 3500 dually 2wd v10 with 32,000 miles that i just bought. When it idles there is a pretty good vibration going on. It clears out when accelerating, but when sitting idling it's almost like a buzzing. Runs great other than that. Any suggestions on what it might be? THanks

It depends on what kind of vibration you're talking about. A buzz could be a loose exhaust manifold cover or it could be a misfire. The vibration goes a way most likely because the rpms change from idle, which is just enough to get something vibrating. Most likely it's just something loose under the hood. I've only ever had buzz noises because of a loose exhaust manifold cover. Hope that helps!
