Cai question
Im sure you guys heard it a million times but i see so many cai now its crazy, for ha ha i went on ebay and ofcourse you can get one for 30 bucks but im guessing there really no good, just a tube and filter,i also saw some on there that have twin filters?are they any good,im guessing no because they seem to just sit up top the engine and suck up the warmer air the engine whould give off?I kno k@n makes a real good system but pricey but the only other ones i can seem to find is airraid?and also volant?i really like the volant but anyone use it?whats the best out there iyo,or is there any otheres i should be looking at?Thanks for any help you dodge gods can give!

everyone goin to claim that theirs is the best, in my mind i feel that airaid has a better quality filter, what i look for.

as far as tube there all the same, and housing wise u pay more for more pieces, mine use the original lower box and replaces the upper pieces and close it to the hood.

in my mind spend ur money on a solid brand name product, gives to someone to blame if theres a problem

I bought the Airaid intake tube to replace the restrictive resonator hat & threw a K&N filter into the factory air box. I'm happy with the results, and got a bit better throttle response as well.

Ram hammer was the predecessor to the BFI. They have recent released a second generation BFI and there is a huge thread about it on the hemi forum:

I havent been keeping up really but I know they were having huge delays and supply problems.

Volant CAI is also well regarded here. I have a DIY setup with a K&N filter.

I had a K&N intake and filter and removed the factory airbox on my last truck. I liked it fine.
