Need Some Advice...

It was Saturday, I was driving my Dodge Neon going to my buddy's house. On the road, theres an airport to the left. The runway ends up by the road where I was driving. Well, there was a plane about to take off, the pilot decided to throttle up...sending very heavy debri across the road. I'm talking about 3/4" stones and dust. I was driving and saw the dust but couldn't stop suddenly, I didn't want to cause major problems for other people on the roadway. I was right by the median so my car didn't get hit hard but there is rock chips on the hood, drivers side fender, windshield. It kind of felt like my driver side window was going to bust out.

I live in PA. Is there any action I can take to get my car fixed? I am not going to file a claim on my insurance...cause it will cost me money (deductible) and I feel like it shouldn't come out of my pocket for someone else's crap. It was at night so I couldn't see what carrier it was. I do have a witness to back me up. So is there anything I could do? Any help is appreciated.

I will post pictures of the chips.:3-angry1:

I don't know that you will receive any compensation for the damage . I would suggest contacting the tower and they could at least tell you who took off at that time as they keep detailed logs of aircraft departures and landings. Then maybe try contacting who ever the airline was and see what they can do for you.
Get you pictures and maybe even the witness statement , if you can, and at least you will have something to present to them. You never know, it is worth a try.
Good luck!!

Wow that sucks man, sorry to hear about that. Looks like yamifz1 has some good advice for you though so good luck but I agree, shouldn't have to come out of your pocket. I know around here when the big trucks throw rocks, people usually can contact the carrier for damages but be sure to keep us posted!

There's more but it seems like more chips are on the front bumper. I very rarely drive it during the winter. Seems like there aren't any small dents, just chips.
