Best tire for a 2004 1/2 ton Ram with 6" lift?

So I've been looking from some tires to go with this. I've looked at Toyo Open Country MT, Nitto Mud Grapplers, Dunlop Mud Rovers, BFG KM2 MT, PROCOMP Extreme AT, and a few others. I'm open to AT's too but just favoring the MT's since I gotta make up for no 4x4. I'll be installing a electric locking posi diff soon as well for anything dicey.

Won't be using this offroad but more for trailering my toys out camping on a 26ft trailer.

Tire size I'm looking for is 35/12.5/18 and I have -12mm offset on my 18x9 eagle alloys (4.5" backspacing).

Any experience/recomendations appreciated!

i have had very good luck with the bfg km2. they will give you a graet ride on the street but when its time to get in between the ditches they will perform great.

My vote would be the Toyo MTs or the newer Nitto Trail Grapplers for what you're looking for. They will last a long time and be perfect for something like your truck. Not too aggressive like the mud grapplers but also better than an AT tire. One member said he got over 40k on his Toyo MTs.

Thanks for the input fellas. I decided to do those Trail Grapplers with Discount Tire. 1300 plus tax for all 4. Not too bad. Got to do a rebate now though. Got the 35/12.5/18 size on an 18x9 rim with -12mm offset (4.5" backspacing) so hopefully no issues with a 2wd 6" Fabtech lift (been going back and forth between rough country, CST, and others but think I'm going with Fabtech unless someone can change my mind in the next couple days)

I really like the look of them online so we'll see how they look on my lil beastie :)

Pics to come!

So jealous right now. Good choice on the rims/tires. Fabtech is a great company and so is CST. I think either way you go you'll be happy. It seems most people on here go CST for our 2wd trucks so I'll be interested to see what you think of the fabtech. I know the 4x4 lifts are great so I would think the 2wds would be just as good.

Nice install pics! Any side shots with the tires on?

I'll get some tomorrow. Those pics I gathered from the boys and didn't do many myself. Long day and was trying to clean up quick and was dark by the time I was done.
