Baby Hauling

Hey guys,

I am new to my 99 dodge truck and I have a 2 year old that rides with me on occasion. The truck is a single cab so I was going to put her in the middle, but then got to thinking about the side air bag. I have been riding her in the passenger seat and turning the airbag off. Would this be the safest option for these trucks? She will not be riding in the truck every day just when needed, I have Hyundai Santa fe and a Chevrolet Equinox for daily driving.

P.s. I know this is probally not the best place for this but I didn't know where else to put it in the second gen catagory.

Thanks,
Reg

I would put in the middle with the passenger air bag off.

call your local state police office

ask them when & where the child safety seat program will be holding a demonstration of proper use of a safety seat for children
Likely they will tell you IF one is coming up, or when to get help ASAP

i dont know about where ur at, but around here, you can go to any fire dept. and they will tell you where the best place for a child seat is and the best way to put it in.
