Switch Bank's Inoperable!

Hey Guy's
Went to the airport Sunday night. Got out to unlock the tailgate for my passengers baggage. When I restarted the truck the upper and lower switch banks that control the heated seats, steering wheel, traction control, 115volt power outlet etc. were not lit up and none of the function's were working.:4-dontknow: Figured a trip to the dealer was in order. When I started the truck Monday afternoon everything worked as normal. Been working fine since. Anyone else experience this or know what would cause it. Thank's!

Although I have not experienced that exact symptom, I have experience many anomalies with my 2010 Ram computer dressed up like a truck. :)

Most recent - I start the truck and the light on the dash shows the truck in 4wd, the selector is in 4wd auto, but the truck is in 2wd. This has happened a few times, and I discovered that all I have to do is 'select' 4wd, then select back to 4wd auto and the computer sorts itself out. LOL

As I have discovered over the years with a few of these computers dressed up like a truck, that sometimes you just have to remove the battery cable for a while, then reconnect to reboot the whole system and it operates and runs better.....at least for a few months. :)

Just wait......all those jokes about what it would be like if vehicles operated like Microsoft Windows (R), are not necessarily that far off. :thk:

Enjoy your new computer......I mean 'Truck'.

Had the fuse box cover off the other day. Just happened to push down on one of the fuses and it seemed like it wasn't seated all the way. Checked the other one's and every fuse and relay was like it. Seemed like some were just barely making contact cause they pressed down quite a bit. I'm thinking this was what caused the problem I mentioned in the original post.
