Can you use 35" tires with a 2.5"leveling kit??? HELP

Okay so I have an 08 ram 1500, currently has a 2.5" leveling kit and still have the stock 20x10 rims and tires on. I heard some people on here saying you can use a 35" tire with just a level kit and others saying that the max tire size you can use is a 33.and can I still use my stock 20x10 rims??? I'm also thinking of going with a mudd grappler or toyo mt's for tires. Any suggestions????? :smiley_thumbs_up:

You sure can. 35s will fit with a leveling kit. You may rub a bit on the upper control arm, and if you do, normally a 1/4" spacer will solve that.

Will they fit even if the tire with is 12.5?? I've heard that's too big and a spacer won't make up the difference.

A 295 series tire will fit with no rubbing, getitng into the 305-325 range then you rub. I'm not at home so I don't have access to my tire size calculator, but a lot of the tires people fit out my way are 35s in the 315 range on a 20" rim and a 1/4 spacer is all they need.
