Some freshening up of the black rocker trim.

Having noticed (pix in thread about my clearcoat), that my black rocker trim was looking a little bit rough, I decided to freshen it up a bit. I was bored, had some black spray paint (satin) and some extra sandpaper laying around, so I pulled off the trim, cleaned the metal underneath, lightly wetsanded, cleaned and painted the trim. It is now drying awaiting reinstall.

Before (after prep):

You can see the road paint from where I ran over a wet yellow stipe somewhere on my cross country trip...

and after paint, awaiting reinstall...

It was quick, easy, and best of all, FREE! Because I had the stuff laying around. It would have cost $10 at most if I hadnt.

Well, it's a small mod and most people wouldn't even known it was done, but it makes you feel better.

wasnt really a mod, more like a result of boredom.
