3" Body lift help
New here and I bet this has been asked a million times. I appologize in advance.
I reticently picked up my 2nd ram '03 1500 hemi with a 3" body lift from the previous owner. I'm struggling on finding out what wheel/tire combo i can put on it without issues. Currently looking into a 17" x 9" with a -12 offset and a 295/75 17 A/T tire, hoping it'll work. I've considered dumping the whole body lift and install a leveling instead and see what'll work with that as well. Just wanted to throw it out there and see what you guys would think of it? Thumb of my new rig.
You sure it doesn't already have a leveling kit on it? By just adding a body lift the front should still sit a few inches lower than the rear but the picture looks pretty even to me.
Either way I would keep the body lift since you have it and add the bigger tires. Nothing wrong with a good body lift....unless you do a lot of offroading.
havent crawled under it yet to take a good look. But from what I see its just body. I do "some" offroading but thats with my red truck, this one is just to drive and enjoy it. I'm pretty sure the wheel & tires i have lined up will work and look better than what it came with it
