Airaid Throttle body spacers.... Good addition?

Just wondering if this is a worth while addition to the new ram and if this is a decent price. Couldn't find any others out there that fit the HEMI yet.... Any input would be great... thanks

You will find that 99% of the prople will say "save your money" and that's good advise.

i have herd its not worth the money aswell

I put one on a s-10 i used to have and it did improve the throttle response.
Just made it rev up a tiny bit quicker.
If you have the extra cash then go for it.
Just dont expect a big difference.

ps. i have considered putting one on my ram and probably will as long as the wife doesnt catch me buying it!!!

most people that tried a throttle body spacer, found that it made more noise & didn't change the performance
save your $$ for a better mod

A golf ball attached to the top of your antenna will yield about the same performance boost, and you can find one for free at most water hazards.

Get a ported throttle body if you wanna fool with that route. The spacer won't do jack shit.

Nope, never seen them give any boost in performance. A CAI will do a lot more for throttle response and power.

^^ what he said. You get no measurable gains with out long runner length intakes as the 'swirl' is completely dissipated by the time it hits the cylinders. A throttle spacer is only useful if you're planning on running a nitrous system and then you can port it through the plate rather than the intake plenum

GREAT!!! Thanks for all the advice guys.... I'll look into that golf ball, Was wondering if color or brand mattered?? I hear Titleist may give more boost than a Nike?!?!?!
