lockers

hey guys, just wondering what you guys are using in your rear diffs, currently i have the stock lsd and it just sucks. i have an 05 ram 1500 4x4 and the thing gets stuck in a few inches of snow. my old grand prix gtp would go through as much snow as my ram:smiledown:. looking into a powertraxx or maybe a eaton e-locker if i win the lottery. any input much appreciated

Stuck in a few inches of snow? What kind of tires do you have? A locked diff is good, but with bald tires it will just spin both wheels in snow or ice. I don't even have a LSD and I've been fine in deep snow.

got brand new goodyear wranglers similar to the duratrac. they are pretty aggressive tread but ya by a few inches i mean 6 or so but i'd still like to be able to go through more

You get stuck with 4wd engaged? I plow snow with mine and I am always backing through deep piles of snow to get lined up for the next run. My brother-in-law thinks its funny to push it behind my truck instead of waiting for me to back up and be ready for the "hand off".
Anyway, look into Lockright, I want to say they are around $350. A buddy of mine wanted to get a little more traction off road but didnt want to mess up his on road handling. I dont think he ever did buy one, but thats the one he liked.
