Instrument panel removal question

1 Attachment(s)
Ran into this under the instrument panel of '98 Quadcab. I was trying to undo this connector to remove the instrument panel from my truck so I could get to the HVAC housing to remove the heater core. It appears to be vacuum lines for the HVAC housing (marked with red x) and the lines run into the instrument panel for the controls, I assume. I never could get them undone, however. I was able to finally get the HVAC housing out and get to the heater core without removing the entire instrument panel, but it would have been a lot easier with it out of the way. (more room to work) Anyhoo, has anyone ever undone this connector, and how did you do it? It appears you need four hands in there to do it? I will post my finished product of heater core replacement and instrument panel cover (dash) when I get done. Attachment 15650

I tried updating my photo and trying to expand my posting acumen so I can make a decent "how to post" on the heater core and dash. There are two of these "hooks" (white arrow)on this connector. One on each side of the connector. I think you need two hands to open each hook, and then another set of hands to pull the connector apart.

(Thanks to the people who provided the tutorials on how to post. Couldn't have done it without you.)
