The Ram has a new toy to pull!

We bought our first camper today, it's a 27ft Trail Lite, 2002 model. It's 100% functional and ready to go, he even threw in the stabilizer hitch with sway bar. Not bad for $6000.00

The Ram pulled it like a champ and I didn't even hook up the torsion bars, plus averaged 14.4 mpg in tow/haul. It was an hour ride home and I drove 45-55 mph taking it very easy but I was very surprised and very pleased!

Thanks guys, were excited to try it out, we have a very nice state park near by so that will be the testing ground in the very near future.

The tag that shows the weight is faded very badly and I couldn't read it tonight, I'll try to find out. The tongue weight must not be very much because even without the equalizer bars the Ram was pretty close to level and I really can't believe how easy it pulls!

The inside

What brand do you build? The tag on the outside of the trailer that has the weights on it is hard to read, is there another place I can look to find this info?

I've built Keystone trailers, Fleetwood, Nash (Arctic Fox), Eagle Cap Campers, and right now I'm working with a small company called Three Feathers that builds Tear Drop Trailers, Cargos, and Lightweight Campers.

Nice looking trailer! Nothing the 5.7 can't handle.

Very nice addition, I'd say you got a great deal on that. WTG
