knocking sound

i have a knocking sound coming from the front of my truck. as i go faster, so does he knock, and vice-versa. it SOUNDS like its coming from the passenger side. im thinking wheel hub. i dont know if this has anything to do with it, but it also pulls to the right, sometimes harder than others, while braking.

Take off the wheel and check the brakes first, there is a rubber fitting on the caliper guides. When the rubber wears down it allows the caliper to move and make a knocking sound, also check the brake guides on the caliper support bracket. Last but not least, check the hub while you have the wheel off by rotating by hand.

do they sell that rubber piece seperate or would i have to replace the whole caliper? as far as brakes go, the farthest ive gone is replacing pads, rotors, and bleeding them. anything else truck wise im good on though.

is that rubber piece called a brake caliper guide pin boot?

would this also make my brake light come on?
