305/70/16 - to - 265/75/16

I am looking at replacing tires on my 2001, it currently has nikko terra graplers 305/70/16 - on stock rims - I am unsure of what lift is on the truck, as I just purchased it, and the prior owner did not know. I was considering the Hancook DynaPro ATM - but the same size is not available - and I don't want to go any wider or more expensive...what would the 265/75/16 be like compared to the 305? Feel, Look, Noise?

Anyone have the hancook on their truck in this size with pics?

Thanks.

well

your looking at about a 5-6inch drop in the height of the truck and im guessing the 305's where a little agressive because of the size so the sound could be less whiney , and there will be more space between your tire and wheel well , alot more space ... and because of the size tires on currently i'd guess theres at least a front leveling kit.

Well, seeing as you have the Sport, I think most of them came with like a 2 inch lift from the factory. That's why the 305's actually fit. Now, going from a 305 down to like a 265, you're gonna see a pretty big difference. First off, the truck will sit a little bit lower, but not 5-6 inches lower. The tires will be a lot thinner and won't stick out past the fenders. And you might feel a little difference handling like there's more body roll then what you're used to. If it were me, I'd get a 275 or 285/70/16.
