caI or programmer?

Ok here is the situation.I am planning on getting a programmer or cold air intake.what do yall suggest?I am looking for off the line power.which of the 2 would give me more "get up and go" power?also which brand is the best?thanks in advance

Not sure for your year truck but i know most will recommend a programmer from Hemifever...i think he also has SCT programmers for your year... i would also look into exhaust and headers for "get up and go"

For the most part intake is for sound :) i have one but i think every little bit helps

The tuners do the most when paired with an intake and a good exhaust! The tuner will give you the most bang for the buck and allow the other mods to work better!

i have a magnaflow hi flow cat on my truck.the check engine light keeps comming up saying the cat, but its only a couple months old.i have heard this is because it is letting so much air through that the computer thinks something is wrong with it.if this is so, would a tuner fix this problem?
