4th Gen elec fan cfm?

Like the title says...I'm trying to see if anyone knows how many CFMs the stock electric fan is rated for on the 4th gens.

My 180 t-stat is in, getting ready to install my u/d crank damper and remove the mechanical fan and I would like to know if the stock elec fan is sufficient to cool the truck in the summer and yes I have a Predator to change the on/off settings. If not, no big deal I'll just leave the mech fan installed or maybe look into a better elec fan replacement like the Taurus or MK VIII fan.

Thanks.

I'm hoping that I'm wrong but I don't think Dodge would install both if the electric fan was able to hold its own.

tomorrow I'll try to pull the p/n and/or brand off the elec fan and do some googling

Timmy, if you can figure out how to loosen the fan without the pulley spinning let me know that too.

A 36 MM Fan Wrench (1) should be used to prevent

I read that but couldn't make out the crappy line drawing. Guess I'll head over to the autoparts store and see if they have it for loan.

It'll prob make more sense once I see the wrench.

I think cooling efficiency will depend on the ambient temps where you love. In VA, you may be ok but I wouldn't try it if I lived in AZ. I have a special tool that utilizes an air hammer for fan clutch removal. Talk about making life easy! http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/p-3127-lisle-43300.aspx
