Interior Detailing????

Hello all, Recently purchased a 2011 Ram q/c here. I am wondering what everyone else have been using for their interior in reference to protectant (armor all) when dressing the dash and doors panels? Any input would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

I use the Mequiar's Ultimate Protectant and quik interior detailer. Works great and leaves a nice finish and pleasant odor.

Yep same here. Never been a big fan of armor all.

Meguiar's inside, tires and engine bay - Zaino exterior

Mequiar's Interior Detailer for me too....it's not oily and slick like Armorall

i don't know if they've improved their products or not, but the last time i used armor-all (which was like 30 years ago...god i'm old) everything it touched turned to shyt-brown over time

so whether it's improved or not to this day my experience with it has given me the mindset to never under any circumstances EVER use that crap again

Nothing but soap and water!!! Armorall will cause your dash to crack over time and discolor. Soap and water will clean it and not harm anything. Just my opinion i guess!

ArmorAll is a silicone based product... yes it will make it super shiney, but over time it dries out the vinyl and causes fading/browning or in worst case scenarios, cracking. The meguiars makes great products, but I'm a bigger foan of the mothers. What's the difference? Not much at all, but I was using for a long time with no issues and they have a product for eveything you could possibly need for detailing.

I have used Armorall for years and have never had a single issue. The only thing I have found with Armorall is that you have to stay on top of it. As soon as the shine starts to fade I hit it again. Maybe this is why I've never had an issue? I am going to start using Maguires on the Ram however. A few of my buddies have switched and have nothing but great things to say about their products.
