DiabloSport Gas Mileage
Hey guys, I've read through pages and pages of threads on this matter and can't quite seem to find the answer. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on buying the DiabloSport Trinity and I was curious as to if anyone saw any mileage gains with their DiabloSport tuner (Predator/Trinity). Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm sure if I kept my foot out of mine I could get better mileage lol

Haha I bet, I was just kinda curious on highway type mileage. Not too worried about city since there's not much helping that ;)

I have seen a 1 MPG increase with the tuner on. That is with a little warmer weather and same driving style. It isnt going to help enough to pay for the tuner. If thats all you want it for then your wasting your money.

Yeah, I was just kind of curious is all. I still want the tuner for that extra kick it gives, just trying to get all the facts first is all lol.

Yes, I have seen a highway mileage improvement with mine. I was lucky to get 11.8 to 12.5 at freeway speeds on long trips. Now I am up almost 3 mpg. My around town, which hovered around 10 is now at 12.8 to 13.2.

Keep in mind I would probably get better mileage if I kept my foot out of it and reduced my highway speed to 65 but darn I'm havin' a problem with that.... :D

Haha now thats what I like to hear :) I guess we'll see how well mine does in a few weeks when I order it, that would be awesome to see that big of an improvement.

Do ya really need the Trinity? The only difference between it and the Predator is the display and the fact that it stays plugged into your PCM port all the time. The tunes are the same.

Yeah, I know. I'm still debating that, I like the fact that it can monitor so many things and I'm sort of a guy that likes technology so I'm king of partial to it. I can't make my mind up lol.

LOL...well, go with whatever you want. I agree, the technology is nice.
