Need thoughts and input
Hey everyone it's been a while since I posted anything but I've been doing some looking around and wanted to toss an idea out there at everyone, feel free to leave any feedback. Since its still winter in the great white north im not planning on making any real moves until june or july but here it is. I've been looking at inertia's site and most importantly at the 6.1L intake conversion kit for the ram I'd like to get this kit, get a stage 2 ported and painted 6.1L manifold with the mopar fuel rail and the 90mm BBK TB, from there I've been looking at summit racing e fans, and I have yet to measure but they have a side by side fan im interested in and if it doesnt fit ill likely get the black magic extreme. This leaves the interesting bit about making a new intake, and my solution is a modified V3 supercharger from vortech the ones they use on the jeep srt8, it looks like it should line up close and I just sent vortech an email for more information on this idea. With the supercharger in place I'll have a much better idea of the CFM flow on the exhaust and what I need to do to open the truck up at the back end. I was considering the magnusson supercharger for my truck it would cost 1-2grand less in the end but with this swap I leave the entire engine open for work down the road ie. a 370 stroker conversion (rotating assembly, cams, springs, rods, the works). I think thats it feel free to comment, suggest, advise.

I have looked almost everywhere but finding parts for the 4th gen ram right now has been a bit of a trick. You really have to know which parts are going to work well together, and after thinking about my plan i might hold off on it for another year yet and just do a cam, springs, rods, lifter swap and a new dual x pipe exhaust + headers for this year. Unless vortech gets back to me with some "good" news soon lol I'm not overly sure I want to do the magnusson supercharger, time will tell, I'll make sure I keep information on what I'm doing going up on the website though :D
I'm feeling pretty scramble brained on what to do lol I wish I had 15g laying around to mod the truck to where I want it to be when I'm done.
yeah I know the feeling...gonna put some money away while I'm in Korea...then the fun will begin with my '09....unless they come out with something cool for 2013 lol
There's always something newer and cooler, but your 09 should be a fun project. I've decided so long as I like what I've got I don't care if I lose out at the track, which is where racing belongs btw :O

Being a noob to tires does anyone know if I'll run into any issues mounting a 295 onto my rim that currently has a 275? Is it easier to get a set of rims at the same time and have the summer tires mounted on them? advice please and thanks :D
