Debadged the R/T today

Finally got around to de-badging the RAM today and love the look without the huge honkin' RAM 1500 stuff on the doors. Wasn't going to take the front HEMI badge off but got carried away and like it without it now.

Thank God for the Eraser wheel I bought. Only took about 30 minutes per side (including the final polishing with the DR after the eraser wheel). Would have been MUCH longer without that little guy.

Now just need to get the headers on when the Trinity tune is ready and get it lowered and I am set :-)

Nice..... I like it! How did you black out the RAM emblem? Did you remove it and paint it with body color or what?

 now were talking.....stealership took mine off b/4 i drove it away.

Thanks, I just popped it off. There are like three tabs behind the grill and I used a screw driver to push the tabs back. I sprayed with Rustoleum Gloss Black. I just misted the emblem the first coat then I did three heavy coats of paint then let it dry over night. Looks great and only cost about five bucks.

That is like a rite of passage for all R/T owners. It should be a requirement. Looks great!
