Ram jack location?

05 Ram 1500 5.7 QC Big Horn -I bought the truck 2nd hand.

Jack was just laying in the rear pass storage area under the seat.
There's a small diameter screw with a wing nut at the top, laying beside the jack pack.
I don't see any threaded hole in the floor under the rear seats.

Where is the proper location for this jack and pack?

Mine is under the passenger front seat.

Yup, under the front passenger seat. :)

Do you guys have that wing nut screw thru the jack eye, going into the floor?

Yeah, I did. I now have a nice JL 4 channel amp in that spot now. :D

Ever heard of a torx screw bolting the jack to the floor? Well mine has one and I have no idea how to remove it. Came directly from the factory that way. Im guessing for extra security during shipment because it isnt mentioned anywhere. Also my wingnut is cross threaded, yep from the factory cross threaded. Any idea where I can get a replacement wingnut and if I could maybe change the wingnut bolt?

Likely it is a bolt sticking through the body pan, that is held in place by a nut, the rest of the bolt threads stick up into the jack & the wing nut holds it in place.
If it is, you should be able to feel it through the carpet or carpet pad

All home improvement stores carry wing nuts, most auto parts places carry them also

Ends up there is a bit of goo sealant on the threads of the wingnut bolt. That sealant doesnt seem to like the 3 degree weather in Germany and that is the reason the bolt was seized. I didnt realize that the wingnut bolt was one solid piece and went all the way through the floor pan. Take out the wingnut bolt and I can see daylight.
