Clearance Lamps

Can you get white clearance lamps(like the light is white instead of amber) if so can you put them on a 2010 dodge ram Laramie 1500 with sunroof?

I personally feel any hole in the roof is a bad idea my 3500's lights leaked like crazy i personally wont get clearance lights again. i don't think it is legal to have white clearance lights i know the black ones are illegal near me but i would wait till a more experienced member chimes in :D

no problem yeah it was bad i had to silicon every light to stop it. when ever i moved the truck a stream of water came from where the visor attaches to the headliner

What's so great these days, is you can get just about anything. There are many aftermarket LED lights that could be used for that.

- BUT -

You will likely have to deal with leak issues as others have pointed out.
and
you will in all probability get a few tickets for having white lights there.

Can it be done - yes! Should it be done....... :4-dontknow:

If done correctly you shouldn't have any leaks, if you did then whoever installed them did a poor job.

I installed a set on my F250 and my brother did the same to his F250. Neither of us EVER had a problem with leaks. It does take a bit of getting over drilling into your roof but once you start it's not so bad. Just measure once, twice, thrice, and again and again until you are ABSOLUTELY sure you have it right. Then have someone else come measure and look at it to make sure as well. No going back once you start drilling!

It does give the truck a more "big rig" look, but I'm not sure how it would look on a 1500.

I had the dealer do it to my truck with no issues or leaks and yes it has a sun roof.... they charged me $200 lights included but they had my headliner down already for a problem with my sunroof .... normally it would have been $275
