Front end noise

So I have no idea whats wrong and im so sick of mechanics around here its unbelievable.

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab, and something is wrong with the steering or front end I have no idea.

When im turning at a moderate speed around corners from stops etc. etc.. when the steering wheel goes back it juggles (best description) bouncing back and forth until its straight again. The PS fluid levels are ok, and after a few days of the juggling steering wheel its making clicking and popping noises from the driver side wheel.

I took it to 2 mechanics, one just rotated my tires and said my treads on the wheels were causing it to have that feeling, which is bull.

Second place replaced a seized U-Joint which I noticed was squealing a bit and I asked them if they test drove it after to see if steering was ok and they said its fine (and it definately was not).

So, if anyone has had a similiar issue or can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

4x4 or 2x4? How many miles on the truck?

Its a 4x4 with 210 000 km on it.

Have you checked your wheel bearings?

Have you had the front drive components looked at? Almost sounds like a drive line issue.

Got it looked at again today by someone else and they knew what it was right away. The driver side u joint was falling apart. He took it apart and showed me what was wrong. The bearings fell out and were broken. All in all problem has been resolved!

Thanks for the quick replies though, greatly appreciated.
