Just did my door panels.......

I just did my door panels with some extra stuff I had lying around, what's the popular consensus? Like or no? Will probably go back over the stainless paint with several coats of clear, and buff it out to a nice shine, but I wanna make sure I like it first. Ok, so I will load the pics from home, evo doesn't want to recognize the attachment doohicky, lol.

So here are the pics, finaly found something the smartphone cant do,lol. i used a water based leather paint and some flat q to tone down the gloss on the middle part then did the door handle fronts and the bottom inset with a stainless steel looking paint.

I was going for an SRT-10 look. Considering carrying the paint scheme in a few small places along the dash also, mainly the inside of the gauge cluster in the metallic paint and the outside trim part in a sort of piano finish black. not sure though.

That looks really good. Makes it look a lot less like a big plastic panel and more like an assembled piece.

What kind of prep did you do? I've really been considering painting some interior pieces myself.

Just cleaned it really well with alcohol wipes, then taped it up, primed it then painted. the middle part thats black I just used alcohol and then airbrushed it with leather paint/dye. Had to mix in flat q to take the sheen out of the dye.
