Mufflex Install Heads-up

2 Attachment(s)
I haven't seen this on any other threads so I thought I would share... I installed my mufflex muffler and a few weeks later I noticed a rattle beginning to develop and when I had a chance to look at the exhaust I noticed the pipe to the muffler had begun to work itself loose. Naturally I figured I didn't get it tight enough but upon further inspection I noticed that Chrysler had welded locator tabs on the exhaust pipes (I'm assuming to aid in production) that the factory muffler had cut outs for... needless to say the mufflex didn't so it took a little elbow grease to get the tabs cut-off and after that the fit was perfect!

I attatched some pics of the tabs so I hope they load. Overall there were 3 tabs I had to remove, the pipe to the muffler, and each tail pipe had one as well... hope this helps some folks (overall I'm very happy with the product!).
