wind noise on quad cabs

Hey guys, I couldn't find the thread I read about someone needing help with wind noise so I'll do a new one. I had a problem a couple of years ago and took it back to the dealer. An old guy in the body shop brought a 2x4 out and flexed my door a little (drivers side), using the 2x4 at the bottom. Not much but it did the trick. It started doing it again last summer and I did it myself. Just be careful, don't bend it....

Are you bending in the front of the door or the rear of the driver's side door?

I would also like to know where to place the 2 x 4....My truck has strong wind noise on the highway.

Cheers!

hey i got a friend in the body shop too he said to adjust your fender so its a little higher than the door.. the air passes over the door ,if the door is higher than the fender thats where your wind noise comes from .. he fixed mine so im not complainging :)

the wind or noise is likely coming from the upper part of the door, but to find out
take some blue painters tape & run it over the crease between the door & fender & some more from the top of the fender to the top of the door.
Drive down the road to see if you stopped the noise or breeze.
then you can tear off strips until you feel or hear it again
if its at the bottom of the door, you can adjust the hinges
