Hooker Aero Chamber Vs Hooker Max Flow

Well after two weeks of searching its down to these two mufflers....
i have read great things about both ...the aero chamber has great sound the max flow boast to flow more freely than any other and has dyno 1.5hp over the aero chamber .....but what im mainly concerned about is MPG!!!

I sure hope someone on here has some helpful thoughts on which why to go because im stuck :4-dontknow:

Also what are some realistic MPG gains i can expect to see from changing out the stock muffler

Thanks

Hi, since youve never checked in how about a warm Carolina welcome to the best RAM ForumZ on the web. How about posting a few photos of your truck?

I've never heard of huge gains from just an exhaust change. But, you might use the exhaust upgrade and a CAI to get started on better air flow.

the aero chamber will probably have more of a flowmaster sound, while the max flow will sound more like a magnaflow or dynomax. You'd probably see about a .5 mpg increase, if you keep your foot out of it, but like redram said, you'll want to do a CAI to max you'r airflow and get the most gains.

I'm a big fan of the aerochambers, I would gladly sacrifice 1.5hp for the sound
