Winch Rope
I have a Warn 9.5ti winch and my rope has become pretty frayed. I was looking at using a new synthetic rope to replace it. The synthetic rope by Warn is $620! Smittybilt makes one that is only $230. Has anyone every had any luck with using Smittybilt synthetic rope on a Warn winch? Thanks!

I would think it would work fine. I had a warn on my jeep and I didn't use warn cable to replace it when the time came. I wanted synthetic, but I didn't have $300 to spend. is a good source you might want to check out too.

Viking line is great material. Had it on my jeep and not one problem ever.

I use my Smitybuilt winch with synthetic rope all the time without any problems. I wouldnt wory as long as you use a good synthetic rope. I've bought from Viking before and had great service. Just be carefull of some of the E-Bay suppliers and web sites like that, there are some lessor quality one out there.
