Magnaflow Catback, AirRaid Intake, Putco Vents & Mud Flaps Installed!! Picture Heavy!

Well guys, just got on my days off and had a few items waiting at home for me.
Magnaflow catback exhaust, AirRaid Cold Air Intake, Putco Window Vents, & also Mopar Mudflaps (front & rear). Oh and my birthday present came in too.. Gf said I can't open it.

Old exhaust needed some muscle to yank off, but once it was off it was smooth sailing. The Intake took maybe 20 minutes to install. DAMN does she sound nice.

Posted a few vids too: Nothing special, what do you guys think?
Any questions just ask!

How's that Airaid??

Bordin 06-08-2011 04:47 PM

From the short drive I took, it was worth the money.

It utilizes the stock intake hole & sucks ONLY cold air. Unlike the other so call CAI that have no intake hose to the fender.

Anyways, no complaints & like it so far!

Sounds great!!! Can't wait to get a CAI for mine!

Awesome Combo! :smileup::smileup:

That's what I run too, almost a year old now.
The exhaust will open up a little more after about 5K miles and sound even better/deeper.

You just need a Tuner like Diablo (once they crack the 11' computer) and she'll scream like a demon ! ;)

Bordin, one question I have on this setup is the sealing of the AirRaid near the fender. It appears that it could seal against the hood over most of the area, but along the fender, and a couple of inches out, I don't understand how it seals. Can you shed some light on this?

Thx

BlackRamHemi 06-08-2011 06:21 PM

You're correct, it's not 100% totally sealed,
if you peak under the hood once it's almost closed you can tell there's a bit of a gap near the fender.
My theory is there's not very much warm air along that small area once you're moving anyway ;)

If you were really concerned you could probably use some pipe insulation but it's never concerned me.

With the Airaid/Magnafow CatBack/Diablo triple whammy I'm in the 13's
with the help of a few minor supporting mods (180 T-stat, Catch Can, Y-pipe)
...and a set of dedicated Drag Tires to help my poor 3.55's out.

Nice job Bordin! Thanks for the awesome pics and videos. My Magnaflow is going on in two weeks as well as my Volant CAI. Your mods have been awesome so far so rep points for sharing with the forum. Oh, and I like that forum sticker on the back glass!

Awesome truck with all the right stuff! :rep:
