Need front end help badly

Hey everyone, Im new to this forum, mainly because i need help. I just purchased another dodge, And this one has some problems that really worry me, When i bought the truck everything was fine or so i thought, Long story short the lower control arm mounts on my front axle have completely rotted off of the axle. Ive been trying to find a new brackets but have found nothing. However i have found brackets for a jeep with a dana 30, But im pretty sure the dodge has a dana 44? Its a 97 ram 1500 sport. Any information will be extremely appreciated since the truck replaced my daily driver. Thanks everyone -Nick

You are correct, Nick. I'd see if you can't find a 94 - 99 1500 in a junk yard. Also, you can check with Cleveland pick a part. Lastly, check LMCtruck.com.

Do you think it is possible to use the brackets from the dana 30? Also do you think it is possible to make up my own bracket? My only concern would be welding it to the axle since i haven't seen that done too much.

you can also try looking on craigslist in your area and see if maybe someone is parting out a 94-99 dodge ram 1500. i am always finding my parts through craigslist in my area for real cheap that way, and sometimes people are willing to do trades for stuff to.
