Fastman TB (Pics)

Hey everybody, thought I would do some review's on my recent modifications. The first one is the Fastman TB. http://thefastman.com/ThrottlebodiesHemi.asp I sent it in (my stock one) to get the opening tapered bored to 85mm. Then the shaft that the blade is secured to is modified to allow for more airflow also. I had my truck up on jack stands for awhile while the rims were getting powder coated and figured why not send it in and give it a try. It was $112 and the return time from when I shipped it in was 2 days. Here is the returned product:

This was a very easy mod and took very little time to re-install.
As far as gains go, you won't notice too much on the low end, just a little more throttle sensitivity. However, at WOT it seems to be flowing better, nothing super crazy.

If anyone else is considering this, they have another option too; for $250 they will take your stock TB and taper bore the front to 85mm and then do an 84mm bore all the way through with a new blade to match. I would imagine that one would definitely notice more gains with this.

Anyways, like I said, the nice thing about boring/tapering your stock TB is that it makes for a very hassle free re-installation, just bolt/plug and play. I have heard of issues with other aftermarket TB's not being so simple.

YUP....fixed! That looks like a nice re-work. Are you using a CAI with it?
