Just a thought...94 ram - 98 ram int. conversion

Is it possible to swap dashes? I have the old style, I can easily get a cheap dash cluster from a newer ram (1998), im looking for a project and this came up, and i was wondering if this was possible? I hate the old style dash, not my taste.

Yup...it can be done but you'll have to sort out the wiring harness and make a few splices I'm sure. Also, I assume you are talking the entire dash and not just the top or instrument portion? Because the top and bottom halves will not match up.

Lastly, before you jump in too far, check the measurements of the steering wheel length from the firewall to the fact of the wheel and the location horizontally and vertically of the steering shaft penetration.

hey maddog thanks for the reply. so if I picked up a complete dash from a newer one, and ripped mine out, would you imagine this wouldnt be that hard of a job? Other than splicing somethings
