Will the duffs match right to the 1500 diff cases. No experience with this only swapping axles in jeeps. I believe 2500 springs are just a higher spring rate for the weight

i found a post on another forum about a DIY dana 60 swap and it looks pretty much plug and play... i want to do this swap so bad im looking to have a weekend toy and a daily and the dana 60 seems to be the best bet as far as strength

If you get 2500 axles, get the springs, spring perches, pitman arm, front control arms and bushings, etc...basically, all the front end parts you can.

how much different is the dana 60 from the 44?

The 2500 diffs are a bolt in as far as suspension goes. As for the drive u joint I am not sure. The difference between the two is strength the dana 60 is a beefer diff than the dana 44. oh ya and all the internals are different.
