Duty on rims to Canada
So ive found a set of 4 KMC rockstar 20x8.5s and rubber for 1700 shipping included. But im just wondering if anyone knows if this will end up costing me a ton of money in duty?

Reverse Scenario.

Had to 50 something for UPS International Custom Brokerage Fees for items coming from Canada to Arizona. I think the weight was 60lbs. It left a bad taste in my mouth with UPS after that. Lot easier doing it with USPS.

There is a place in Buffalo where you can send them to and pick them up at the location any day of the week. Its a HUGE factory just near the border. Its a great idea for anyone not wanting to wait until their package to clear customs in the mail.

if its made in the states theres no duty just gst and the provincial tax rate. I would have it shipped to some place close in the states and bring it into canada youself and save some brokerage fees

When I bought mine from a fellow member I had him ship them to a post office/depot in Grand Portage Mn (50km from where I live). When they arrived I just drove there and picked them up. I only had to pay Hst no duty to bring them into Canada. If you have a border town close to you this is the way to go. Good luck and be sure to post up pics of the new wheels once yu have them on!

You'd be looking at an equivalent to the HST, they screw you over somewhat. Easily in the $1-200 range.
