2008 4.7 Performance

Looking for help on finding any performance parts for a 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 with the 4.7L and a 6 spd manual.

Anything in particular that you are looking for or just general recommendations? Just start with the big three....cold air intake, exhaust, and a programmer. All of these are readily available for your truck. The programmers for your year provide excellent gains. I bet if you combine that with the intake and exhaust you will feel a huge difference. There is a dyno sheet for your truck (maybe an automatic) somewhere on the Superchips forums if you care to search for it.

Yep, he said it there.... the big three, and anything after that would probably mean doing head$, cam$..... notice the $ signs..... hehe

Nice to see ya got a wrist shaker wish I woulda. As many of us say to other the big 3 exhaust intake programmer although a programmer would do less for you seeing that you have a manual tranny already

Wow that must be a nice setup with a manual! Agreed with ^^ you won't benefit from any transmission upgrades from a tuner, but you will still get huge hp and torque gains. I think for your year superchips adds 50hp and 55ftlb of torque, other tuners (like diablo sport) should be comparable. I love my superchips but most seem to prefer the diablo sport on this forum. Intake and exhuast like said above, but the tuner is best bang for buck. APS makes a nice torque converter, I am going to be getting this soon, I haven't found anyone else that uses it. What gearing do you have now? Everything else gets expensive...
