Am I lucky or not?

Okay so I got a set of 6.1L injectors given to me from a 2010 Challenger crate engine. Will they it a 5.7L ? Are they worth the install? If I put an Airaid cai in the truck would a tuner be helpful as well? Also I got the suspension, springs/shocks from a 2010 TRX4 and whatever else for $150. Is it worth the shop time only to gain 1.5 inches? Mind you it would be more in the front because my truck is a Sport and sits with the nose on the ground. lol.. the Dodge guy told me not to put a leveling kit in the truck because it will change the angle of the axles in the front causing premature failure of suspension components. The same guy also sold me the stock fender flares and an undercover tonneau cover for $900 as well. Just some random questions and statements, seeing what you all think. Pictures to come of the mods as I do them.

the injectors for the 6.1L will fit, but they pump more fuel, so you will be running rich. You would likely need cams/tuning/possibly forced induction to take advantage. More fuel means you need more air. the difference in A/F Ratio from 5.7 to 6.1 is not much so you MIGHT be able to get away with just a tune.

But hey, I am always looking for a reason to BOOOOOOOOOOOST

The Leveling kit? I would go with Bilstein 5100 Shocks, and call it a day. They are adjustable shocks that you can raise to level out the front of the truck. It used to be the case back in the old days that leveling kits caused premature wear, not so much anymore. And even so, with the Bilstein's, its as easy as twisting the adjustment nut to lower the ram back to stock. Thats my only complaint about these trucks is how low to the ground they sit. You cant do ANY kind of even semi-serious off roading without some sort of lift.

I am hoping that with Airaid intake and a tuner that those injectors would be a nice upgrade as well. I'm not ready to boost yet. At least until the warrenty is out. Just hit 50,000kms :) I'll do some research.

I have driven a 4th gen Hemi, stock with 3:92 gears.

You should not even need to think about boosting.

If anyone needs more go fast than a 4th gen Hemi provides, they got more issues than not having enough power...:Wow1:

Yes Fred. Unfortunately I do not have the self control I need to keep my foot out of the bitch. Therefore Supercharged Hemi+more mods+me=Death...lots of death. :D

BTW, I need to see pix of the tread left by that takeoff, or it didnt happen  .

I want to boost my truck eventually. I can get my hands on the intake from plenum to air box. Is it worth stuffing that in? I want headers too. Just don't wanna spend the 1600 to get them. Need some under drive pulleys too. sway bars.. Oh crap here we go with the modding. I have a 4th gen with the 3.92 gears :) It's fun, but can be heart-breakingly expensive.. But fun so it's all good.
