Future Plans for my 40/20/40 Front Bench

Lets be honest. How many people really use the front middle seat of their truck? I know I sure don't plan on having some crammed up front next to me, so why not get rid of that small uncomfortable seat and put that space to REAL use!

I haven't done this... YET, but once I save up the money for more supplies (I already have the amp and sub) I will be putting this design into my truck

I'm still not sure if I will keep his design as is, or run the box towards the dash as well and mold in new cup holders... decisions :4-dontknow:

Edit: That forum is also where I spend most of my time online, I swear by their products.... you can't find much better stuff for the price! Although, they don't make their own amps anymore, so you have to find used ones or if you're lucky a new one someone has been hording

Looks like an interesting box build. Be sure to take lots of photos when you do yours and keep us posted on the progress.

I sure do like the flip up counsel. Not trying to be disagreeable. Theres a few reasons why I like it.

I like it too, that's why I'm still fighting with the box design... getting enough air space without having an arm rest that is too high...

Soo I still haven't gotten around to building my custom center console but i did put a temp box in that spot... and lets just say there is no kill like overkill :D

I flipped it around so it rear firing with the port at the bottom...

I'll back that about elemental designs. They make great stuff for the price, their amps were great as well, too bad they don't do them anymore...still have one of their 4 channel amps laying around somewhere...just gadda find a mono block from them...

To me its all about clean having a huge box next to me like that is well not my style id rather put the subs in the back and have it clean looking rather then have a huge box next to me. And another problem with having stuff like that out in the open it just says steal me and to those that think oh my shit my will never get stole LOL i have a dog an alarm and my shit was stole out of my mustang right under my bedroom window they want it bad enough they will steal it.

A big box isn't my style either but, if any theif wants what you have bad enough nothing will stop them from taking it. I had a $5000 system stolen out of my Tacoma with an allarm with proximity sensor, starter kill, glass break sensor, and all the other bells and whistles. Truck was kept in a locked garage with bars on the windows...the only thing we can do is make it as hard as possible for thieves to get to our stuff...i agree though, a giant box does draw a little more attention.

I was going to make an alarm system that if you broke in and did not know the code the vehicle explodes lol
