Painting Calipers

Im planning on painting my calipers. Is there anything special I need to when I remove my wheels with the tpms? Or do I just take the wheel off? :4-dontknow:

I'm gonna guess you meant calipers, that or you have a bunch of little Dodges sitting around that need painting.

I love your truck by the way. That's pretty much a perfect look in my opinion.

scuff and clean the caliper really well before you start to paint. mask everything off that you dont want painted and spray!

I don't think you need to worry about TPMS, just scuff it like Ghostknife said, prime if you can and paint it. Be sure to use high heat resistant paint, because your calipers get worm.

^^^^ What they said sums it up nicely. I've already done mine, just take the Wheels off and don't worry about the TPMS sensors. When you rotate the tires it does not throw off the TPMS, the system somehow knows which sensor is on which wheel.

Hey Rans What kit did you use or just get paint any suggestions before I start?

I bought the duplicolor kit that you brush on in blue. My plan is to paint this weekend so I'll let you know how it goes.
