2WD leveling..

I am looking for a leveling kit for my 2WD and have a few questions.

first off.. will a 4x4 leveling kit work for my 2WD? they look pretty much the same and with the same idea being a spacer over the front coils.. i dont see why not.

IF not.. then does anyone have a brand that will give me a 2 to 2.5 inch front lift for a good price?

Lastly.. once it is leveled (2+ inches) that should allow me to fit bigger tires right? 35s maybe?

thanks!

First off no a 4WD one will not work yes same concept but the front suspension of a 4wd truck is significantly different the 2WD truck. Now I have not seen any 2.5 2WD leveling kits but 2 inches is most likely what youll find. Truxx is what I have on my truck and with out the rear 1 inch it sits pretty nice.

No go on the 4wd kit. Different suspension in the front like posted above. 2" should level you out pretty good. You probably could fit 35" tires, but you would need wheels with probably like a -25mm offset. I would just go with 33"s if I were you. You will be pleased.

I'm with you I just want to level this damn thing out but they make it so complicated and expensive...thats the el cheapo in me.

I couldn't agree more, I want a leveling kit for my '06. I hate the look of the nose pointed down and the gap from top of tire to wheel well in the rear is huge compared to the front. If you find a cheap one would you let me know pls? I'm an "el cheapo" too, but mostly because my wife doesn't think it's worth the money that I want to put into my Ram. I try telling her that once I get all the mods done that I want she's going to want to drive my truck and make me drive her Journey! Fat Chance Baby!! LOL
