suspension?

Hello, i'm new to this forum and this is my first post here. I had an 02 Camaro before i bought my 04 ram, but i have some questions about the suspension.

I have an 04 ram 1500 hemi 4x4. The previous owner put air bags in back and a dampening system in front.

I want to make it into a mild prerunner like truck. I want it to be able to take a hit and a jump well, but i do not want a lift.

can anyone tell me what parts i'm gona need to make my suspension do this? I cannot find any kits like this. I have searched, please help!

I may be wrong but I believe you need a lift to create the travel needed to use a shock capable of dampening the load created by all that weight coming out of the apple tree.

I would suggest talking to any of the big names in pre runner kits to get professional advice.

I talked with Thuren quite a bit after talking with the larger companies. No b.s straight to the point kinda guy. http://thurenfabrication.com/home.html

Just my 2 cents.

the rear leaf springs would have to be ditched, among other things. major fab work.
