Kills by the 4.7
The night after i got my truck i raced a v6 challanger and beat it by a full truck. About a mile down the road i raced a mustang gt and got him by a half of a car. since then i have beat a bmw, f150, 2 silverados one was a gas and the other was a durcrap, f250 powerjoke and alot of hondas. The thing i like most is when they ask is that a hemi and i just say nope its a 4.7

I really don't like to doubt people stories, but I don't know about a mustang gt man. I would probably believe you if you had work done to your truck, but stock?

If by some chance you did beat all of them, props to you.

I've beat 4.6L mustangs from a roll (just about anything beats me from a standstill...) If I'm going at least 10mph I can beat alot of cars, even stock 4.6L's...

Theres a good chance that it could of been a v6 with the gt emblems on it or the kid couldnt drive.

There were 2valve, 3valve, and 4valve 4.6L's....Most of the 4.6L mustangs have like 200-260hp, not that impressive, some were between 260-300hp, and few (svt cobras) are over 300hp....even the mach1 supercharged were not even 400hp....No doubt a 4.7L ram (especially the new 4.7L) could keep up with or beat the lower end 4.6L's (2valves)

Ya ive seen some gts at the dragstrip and stock there only running high 10s. thats the 1/8th the best i got was a 10.6 that was before i put a cold air intake on it

Also depends on the torque curve.....I knew someone with a mach 1 mustang it was around 390hp if I remember correctly....and he couldn't figure out why my friends 360hp ls1 camaro ran a faster 1/4 mile....I tried explaining that the advertised hp number was peak, and that the ls1 put out far more torque for most of the curve, but he couldn't grasp the concept...

I'm 98 Mustang GT 4.6L came with a 2.89 rear end. Added 3.55's & it seemed like a different car.

^ My buddies camaro was similar, he had like 2.47 or something, swapped to 3.50 I think, and it'll launch much harder, burn tire through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd now, however, it didn't change 1/4 mile time hardly at all...
