Found a wicked deal on a Magnaflow y-pipe

I was cruising around looking for a y-pipe when I came across this..

http://www.exhaustsystemsdirect.com/

I ended up paying $25.99 with shipping  for a Magnaflow universal y-pipe p/n 10778. 2.5" dual / 3" single. This is the part most of the modders are using. Found some universal Hi-flow cats there too.. Hmm.. Any thoughts?

I caaaaan't get it any faster.. lol. I'm going to go to the muffler shop today to make sure they have the stainless piping and a mandrel bender.. Also I am going to talk to them about deleting the cats and installing the O2 simulators. Found them for $55 for the 2. So I may just get them to fab up some piping with the bungs to install the necessary sensors and install the Y-pipe..

isnt that part number just for the transition piece? you still need someone to do the rest of the piping off the manifolds and after the transition to the muffler. Whats the benefit to this piece as opposed to a shop just making a complete y-pipe?

This is a stamped piece, so an excellent 2-into-1 right. If you take a look at this thread here: http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=89554 - about half way down there is an excellent couple of photos to show exactly why you buy this y-pipe then have a shop install it in place of the old one. Which is just an exhaust nightmare IMO. BlackHemiRam did it the right way. New y and 2 small sections of stainless mandrel bent exhaust piping. However due to further investigation I've found Magnaflow hi-flo cat's and apparently JBA makes headers so now we'll see.. :D

I was just wondering if it was more beneficial than getting the ory that pacesetter makes. or if your trying to be emissions compliant it seems like a good way to go with some high flow cats...is that correct?
