Need Help Removing Tail Lights on my 2011 Ram

I ordered the Smoked Recon tails and I installed the 3rd brake light no problem, very stubborn though. However I used a little to much force and I broke my factory Tail light tabs on the driver side :SHOCKED:How do you take these off without breaking them? I wiggled the light slowly and I thought it would just come off like the 3rd brake light but it snapped the tabs off! Is there a trick to getting them out? Im scared to attempt the passenger tail light.

After you remove the 2 screws in the tailgate area, pull the taillight toward the back of the truck. The assembly will slide out of the 2 plastic clips, leaving them in place. It is a bit awkward, and takes a good pull, but the clips will not break. :)

x2

I had one that was a little stubborn and it took a little bit of rocking and it came right out. Make sure you push your tails in firmly when you go to put them back in so the clips "reclip" lol

The 3rd is a little more tricky...Just remove the 2 screws of both sides, and gently pry on the top, thats how mine came off
